Prepare 4 VC was founded by Jason Kraus in order to help startups raise capital from the investor’s perspective. Jason Kraus holds a MSc in Management in Entrepreneurial Leadership from Babson College and a BA in Economics and Math from Colgate University. Prior to starting Prepare 4 VC, he worked as an associate for the venture arm of a small a family office focusing on early stage venture capital, and as a screening committee member for the Boston Harbor Angels.
Jason is actively involved in the investment community through his roles at Equity Venture Partners and the EQx Fund, and as a member of the Boston Harbor Angels. He leads the Boston Chapter of one of the largest Startup Networking organizations, StartupGrind and was recently voted one of the Most Influential Entrepreneurs of 2018
Terence is an experienced Venture Investor with a demonstrated history of working within the startup community to help companies meet their financing needs. He has overseen investments in all stages of a company’s growth, including Angel, Seed, Series A, Series B, and further follow on rounds. Skilled at valuations and financial instruments, Terence helps to structure investments and term sheets to be mutually beneficial for investors and companies alike. Following financing, Terence takes a hands-on approach of working with companies to develop strategic and growth initiatives.
With an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the College of William and Mary, Abhiram has experience in developing business plans and pitch decks for startups in a variety of industries such as technology, healthcare, food, education and non-profit. Abhi is an active member of the startup and investment community through StartupGrind, New Richmond Ventures and 757 Angels and is a proven leader with a strong background in operations management and business development in the healthcare industry, holding a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
Operations manager and marketing guru with a background in the entertainment and digital media sector. Steven won an Emmy® and Peabody award and was a member of the team that launched www.ESPN.com. He ran business and content for the #1 kids eBook application and has worked with the NY Times, USA Today and Bloomberg in corporate roles developing their app-based ecosystems. Steven has also worked with WPP, IPG and Omnicom companies and has run sales operations with 300%+ annual growth year to year. Currently, he also owns and operates a marketing consulting firm, Craft Management, that has become an affiliate partner for Prepare 4 VC and a great resource for our client base.
Farzad has managed more than 900 successful interactive products for Fortune 500 companies as well as startups. He helps businesses get out of vague situations, map out marketing strategies, improve their brand perception, and improve their process to increase sales. Ons such company went from losing money to earning $1M in revenue in less than a year. Farzad is an Emmy winning video producer and is active in the Boston Filmmakers Meetup and as the organizer of the Boston App Festival.
Rob is extremely active in the angel investment community, serving as the Managing Director for Assymetry.VC He founded and managed the seed-stage investment syndicate comprising 400+ accredited investors and $1.9M in investment pledges. Rob has led over a dozen syndicated investments in high-growth early-stage ventures and also personally invested in 75 additional startups. Prior to his, he bootstrapped a real estate investment fund from zero capital to a portfolio of over a dozen investment properties.
Dan holds a Master’s in Chemistry and has been actively involved in the healthcare and life science startup space. He led the research team for LabDoor, a startup seeking to bring transparency to the dietary supplement industry, overseeing the product testing and grading pipeline. Subsequently he went on to co-founded LegDay, a front desk chatbot, enabling a healthclub’s existing phone number to send and recieve text messages. Currently, Dan works as a product manager for adult social media site FetLife, defining customer needs, priotirizing product updates and tracking key performance metrics.
